From Istanbul, Turkey, the organiser from VJ Fest Istanbul will be at our festival. Aside from organising her fantastic festival in Istanbul, she once started as a VJ, and build her way up to the international visual performance scene. As an established name in the industry, we are happy to have Burcu on our side.

Nowadays that manifests itself in dancing around, drinking heeps of coffee, smoking cigarettes and producing all kinds of electronic sounds. From energetic electro, dubstep and techno till more laidback easy listening tracks. With his danceable live set, Frenkey is sharing his sounds with the beauty that is called 'the world'. .

The Utrecht based DJ-collective 030303 is well known in the Netherlands from their own organised party’s. The foundation of their name is pretty logical; 030 is the area code of Utrecht, and 303 comes from the famous acid house synthesizer: the Roland TB-303. Besides nostalgic acid music, 030303 also likes to play all kinds of electronic music. Altogether you really have to get your feet of the floor and dance all night!

From our very own crew, Bas K. is a multitalented artist who floats between music production, vj'ing, 3D design and loads of other stuff. For the Freemote festival, Bas will produce an exclusive Audiovisual liveset, and we can also see some interesting fractiles and spaceobjects in the exhibition area during the whole weekend.

Working together with tons of musicians, filmmakers and bands, Temel is an experienced and well known VJ from Istanbul. His style varies from abstract to animations to live action footage with nice layers. Personally, he does not like to record any of his performances because it is an experience that happens on that specific moment, and can not be recaptured on a computer screen. To experience him, you will have to see him Friday at our pre party.

From Berlin, the founding father of the A MAZE festival, will join our preparty to bleep the city to bits. This multifunctional talent, currator, organiser and dj has proved last year on Born Digital's 'Utrecht meets Berlin' festival allready to be an important, and most off all, very pleasant person to work with in the New Media scene. With his first love, turntableism, he will show us how the Berlin 8-bit sounds are like.
